Heartspring’s Community Engagement program provides sensory-friendly outings, restaurant visits, and social skill-building groups to foster confidence and independence. Early intervention is key for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, but therapy costs—averaging $220 per hour—can overwhelm families. Your support provides a full week of therapy, ensuring a child receives expert care, guidance, and interventions that can transform their future. Neurodivergent individuals face unemployment rates up to eight times higher than the general population. Heartspring’s Vocational Training bridges this gap, offering computer training, mock interviews, volunteer opportunities, and real-world job experience through Caffeine Connection. For many children with neurodevelopmental challenges, movement is more than exercise–it's a path to confidence and inclusion. Adaptive Physical Education (APE) improves coordination, strength, and social skills through structured, sensory-friendly activities. Your support provides specialized equipment and trained instructors, ensuring every child has the opportunity to engage, play, and thrive.

Imagine having thoughts and feelings but no way to express them. Communication devices give non-verbal children the ability to connect with family, teachers, and peers–unlocking opportunities that once seemed out of reach. Q&A

How do I bid on silent and live auction items? 

• The silent auction opens at noon CST on Friday, April 4. Sign in above, put in your information, and you are set to bid on silent auction items! The live auction will be conducted in-person during the gala, in which you will raise your bidder number to bid.

What if I want a different bidder number than my spouse? 

• Our lead silent auction volunteer can help you obtain a new bidder number. If it is before Saturday, April 12, please email development@heartspring.org.

How can I set an autobid? 

• Go to the item you are interested in and click “Bid/Info.” Then click “Bid/Set Max” and select the amount you are comfortable with. Click “Set Max” to have the system autobid for you up to your selected max amount.

How do I keep watch on an item? 

• Find the item to add to your watch list and click the heart icon next to “Bid/Info.” Click “Menu” at the top of the screen and then “Watching” to see a list of items you are interested in. 

How do I participate in Fund a Cause? 

• We will be having a live Fund a Cause portion of the evening in which you can donate by raising your bidder number. Alternatively, you can click “Donate” at the top of this page. 

What if I want to participate but don’t want to use my credit card? 

• To participate in the silent auction, you will need to enter your credit card information. You are welcome to write a check made out to Heartspring at the end of the auction and your credit card will not be charged.

Do I get a tax receipt if I purchase anything? 

• Yes. Following the event, you will receive a tax receipt via email with everything you purchased.

How do I pay? 

• Click “Continue Bidding” above, where you can click “Pay!” at the top of the screen to pay using the credit card you entered or a different one.  

What is "Help Cover Our Credit Card Fees"? 

• After clicking “Pay” at the end of the evening, you may notice an additional fee added to your total. This is an optional 3.63% fee that you may opt-out of by selecting the box labeled “Opt out of: Help Cover Our Credit Card Fees!” As an organization, we pay fees on every credit card contribution, and we would greatly appreciate you helping us cover these so more money can go back to the families we serve!

What if I don’t click pay at the end of the auction? 

• We highly encourage you to pay by clicking “Pay” in the top left corner above the listed auction items. If you do not pay this way, we will charge the credit card that you have entered on Monday following the close of the auction unless we hear from you that you would like to pay via another method.
