Our Derby Event

Your 2023 Kentucky Derby Event Includes a seated gourmet dinner at the Westmoreland Club on Friday, May 5th, 2023.
We'll start the evening celebrating with Derby themed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, surrounded by wonderful floral displays of roses inside the Westmoreland Club.

At 7p we will  proceed to dinner and entertainment under the tent at The Westmoreland Club. Expect festive music, Derby themed entrees and desserts followed by betting games with pre-recorded races! 

In addition to the dinner and silent auction, you can also participate in our signature fundraiser for our Early Learning Programs by purchasing a chance to win a trip to the 2024 Kentucky Derby Races!  

Your consideration for sponsorships also helps support this event as well. We have many options available, many which include dinner tickets to the event.

There is no cost to register. Payment will be taken only if you are the winning bidder. All proceeds will go towards funding our Early Learning Programs at the YMCA!

Our silent auction opens for bidding on Tues., May 2 at 12pm and will close Saturday May 6th at 10am. 

Items will be available for pickup at the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA - 40 W. Northampton St. Wilkes-Barre, starting Monday, May 8. 

Upon request, gift certificates can be mailed to you.  All sales are final and in "as is" condition.

Larger items will need to be picked up by the winning bidder.
Items are available to be shipped at the winners expense.
