Why Great Gatherings?
PASI, through the Great Gatherings fundraiser, provides families with an opportunity to enhance the day-to-day experiences our students have in the classroom with donations big and small. Hand-in-hand with the Sioux Falls School District, Great Gatherings' fundraising primarily supports the international interns in our program. The value these interns bring to our children’s classrooms is priceless. PASI proudly provides the funds for our interns each year which costs $6,000 per intern. While supplementing the intern program is PASI's primary focus, we fund many other needs within the Immersion programs as well. Our fundraising efforts benefit teacher development and grants for classrooms and Spanish-language library enhancement across all grade levels.
