PADDLE RAISE: Framing the Future

This year’s Paddle Raise supports programming initiatives and facility upgrades in both the Early and Main Schools. Your support will benefit students from our youngest learners to our eighth graders as we prepare each child for the future in a safe and thoughtfully-designed learning community.

To give directly to this cause, raise your paddle during Live Item #7, or CLICK HERE to give now.

For the Early School

Your support will help provide new carpeting in classrooms and upgraded tiling in each room’s Practical Life area. Your donation will also allow for the upgrade of storage space for our extensive collection of Montessori works and will support changes to our outdoor space, including a new playscape and picnic tables designed specifically for our young students.

For the Main School

We move into the upcoming school year focused on implementing a student-centered, experiential, and projected-based approach to learning, with an emphasis on strengthening critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. This new model of learning will permit Middle School students to choose a portion of their specials from a core menu of electives and will allow us to take learning off-campus and into local businesses.

With your support, we will transform a classroom into the Center for Creative Studies, where students will collaborate, share and create in pursuit of solutions to real-world problems. Your donation will also allow us to develop student lounge space in the lower quad and launch a student-managed school store.

For Our Faculty

To sustain our programs, we must commit to supporting our faculty. We will ensure our teachers have access to the highest quality professional development, including re-certification training for our Montessori Directresses and high-quality technology training for our Middle School staff.
