In the video he appears by the pool Tyler and Josh are cleaning. Nancy thinks he represents creativity and the struggle for positive energy and being happy with yourself or being able to be pleased with your art. The puppets are an idea about trying not to let yourself be controlled by outside influences in your thought process. The more well known you become, the more control people want over your art.

The inspiration for the skeleton Tyler and Josh figures on this drum head was the BlurryFace album. They often wore skeleton hoodies during this release and Nancy decided to take an image Nancy saw and make them into skeletons. The skeletons symbolize the inner battle everyone faces with their own issues and the insecurity of Burryface. Nancy also added some of the red, white and black patterns from the album, and left the center open to preserve Josh’s drum strokes.
