 Benjamin Watson is a former NFL tight end, as well as an author, a speaker, and an advocate. A Bart Starr award winner, two time Walter Payton man of the year nominee.

     "My parents tell me that as a young child I would declare that when I grew up I wanted to be 'a football player and a missionary,'" Watson wrote in his retirement post. "For the past 16 seasons God has granted me the opportunity to do both. As I walk beyond  the field my sincere hope is that I was a trusted brother and friend to the hundreds of teammates and families I was blessed to share my football life with and that I earned their respect as a player and most importantly as a man." 

      Benjamin won the Super Bowl while playing for the New England Patriots during his rookie year during his 16 seasons in the NFL.  He is now a college football studio analyst with the SEC Network, VP of strategic relationships with Human Coalition, and Director of Football for Pro Athletes Outreach.  

Along with his wife, Kirsten, he is the founder of The Watson 7 Foundation, a nonprofit            focused on strengthening families. Pursuing their mission of justice, kindness                 and faith the Watsons now live in Georgia with their seven children.

By integrating the gospel, academics, and a loving environment, students at HCCA develop holistically and flourish as they learn the Truth of God while preparing for their future.
