About the Program

Proceeds from this event benefit UWNEMN's Buddy Backpacks program - every $9 raised helps feed a local child over the weekend!


Nearly half of all children in our region qualify for free or reduced lunch. Schools  have shared many stories of children returning to school Monday morning after a weekend without enough to eat.  With the help of hundreds of volunteers and donors like you, more than 1,100 local students are taking home nutritious meal kits every weekend and holiday break this school year!
