ABOUT BLOOMING BIDS

12pm-7:00pm - Charity Auction-Live & on-line. Stop in anytime to view the auction items and bid. It’s casual, come straight from the beach! (Bidding on-line will be available on the day of the event) 

5:00pm-7:00pm- Celebration. Enjoy farm-to-table hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer, “mocktails," and music. Bidding continues during the celebration until 7pm. 

Celebrate with us from 5-7pm The day culminates with a pre-dinner celebration to thank our generous sponsors and donors featuring summer farm-to-table hors d’oeuvres, beer & wine, fresh new “mocktails," and music that will make you want to shake it... all before dinner! What is Blooming Bids? Blooming Bids for Fairwinds is an auction of designer garden planters and window boxes (created and donated by Nantucket’s top landscapers, nurseries, florists, and gardeners) and one-of-a-kind experiences.

ABOUT FAIRWINDS 

What does Blooming Bids support? Every dollar raised will support Fairwinds which provides critical mental health services for children, adults, and seniors regardless of financial or insurance status. These services include outpatient therapy, psychiatry, medication management, development testing, in-home therapy, therapeutic mentoring and more. 

Why is this year so important? Big news! In collaboration with NCH, and other community partners, Fairwinds has launched a new model of rural behavioral health care and has been designated the ‘Community Behavioral Health Center for Nantucket’ by the state of MA. This includes critical 24 hour crisis management. Please join us and show that you care that all the people in our community have access to essential and compassionate mental health services.
