The online silent auction takes place November 12th- 19th

The Gala and Live Auction takes place November 19th from 5:30 - 9:00 pm 

at The Verve in Natick


The DREAM BIG Gala and Auction is the MetroWest YMCA’s signature event with 100% of the proceeds directly supporting local children and families when they need us most.

Participate in a wonderful evening surrounded by hundreds of community leaders and Y supporters featuring silent and live auctions emceed by Y volunteer, Framingham Resident, and NESN Sports Anchor Tom Caron!


Join us in celebration as Dave McGillivray, race director, philanthropist, motivational speaker, accomplished athlete, and our 2018 Inspiration Award Winner, presents our DREAM BIG Award to Paul and Peter Reynolds!


Paul and Peter Reynolds are best-selling children's book authors and Co-Founders of FableVision Learning inspiring individuals of all ages to unleash their creativity and to "make your mark." Peter is also an illustrator to many best-selling children's books.


Leading up to our gala the online silent auction will open the week before on Tuesday, November 12th, and conclude during the event on the 19th.

Our WHY


Here at the MetroWest YMCA, we strive to meet our community members where they are. Every day, we are helping individuals of all ages be better selves with our thoughtful programs and initiatives both inside our facilities’ doors and throughout the region with community partnerships. Our food access initiative provides groceries and meals to thousands of children and families. Our Evidence Based Health Programs such as LIVESTRONG for Cancer Survivors and Parkinson’s Wellness Program offer compassion, community, and tailored engagement opportunities to individuals facing these specific health challenges. Our youth programs including camp and early learning give youth opportunities to learn resiliency, strengthen their mental health, and contribute to our community. As a result, our community becomes stronger when we are there for our children and families when they need it most. Through events like our Dream Big Auction, we can gather and celebrate the impact your support makes in our community.

Participate in the online silent auction that will open on Tuesday, November 12th and close during our gala on Tuesday, November 19th. 
Register to bid in the online silent auction by entering your phone number or email in the space below. 

FAQs

How to Register to Bid

Click on register and complete, including cell phone and email address and a credit card. A credit card is required in order to bid on items. This information will ONLY be saved for check out and to communicate with you about the DREAM BIG event. 

How To Bid

  1. Enter https://dreambiggala.cbo.io into your browser’s address bar.
  2. Enter in your bidder number, phone number or email address and tap GO.
  3. Confirm you are the name listed (a password may be required at this time) then hit "Continue".
  4. Once completely logged in, you can search by item #, keyword, or by category.
  5. To place a bid tap on the blue "Bid/Info" button. There you can place a fast bid, bid or set a max bid, and read details about items. 
  6. Tap on MENU > MY ITEMS to view your activity throughout the event.

Checkout From Your Phone

You can securely checkout from your phone with a credit card. Once you have a checkout available, a red "Pay!" button will appear at the top of your bidding screen. Tap on this button to proceed to checkout. *For one checkout, wait until all auction items (silent, live, appeal) have closed. You must check your items you are bidding on to see which ones you have won. 

Tips and tidbits

  • I forgot my bidder #? Type your phone # or email address in the bidder # box. Tap GO. You also can tap on the "?" for help.
  • How do I remove a bid? Right after you place a bid, you have the option to "undo" on the confirmation banner at the top of the screen. Once this banner goes away, you will need to contact Ashley Place to remove. Please text her at 704-910-7415
  • I already selected "no" or replied "STOP" to the SMS text message alerts, not realizing that I wouldn't receive outbid notices. Can I fix it? Yes! Text "START" to 56651 to begin receiving these once again.
  • How do I place a Max Bid? To place a "max bid", tap on Bid/Info > BID/SET MAX > select the amount you are willing to spend on the item > SET MAX. The system will bid up to that amount for you automatically. You will be notified via text message if you are outbid on this item.
  • Did I win? You will receive a notification from ClickBid that you are the winner. Also, once the auction has closed, you can look under MENU/MY ITEMS to view everything that you have won/purchased.
