Founded in 1989 and located in Darien, Connecticut, The Depot offers a connected and inclusive environment for local middle school and high school students, providing essential programming and leadership development through clubs, activities, and events. Housed in an historic local train station saved from demolition by The Depot’s founders, the organization’s mission is “Supporting the well-being of our youth by giving them opportunities to connect, grow and give back”.
Over the past 30 years, The Depot has become a vital town asset, enhancing the quality of life in Darien and making it a better place to live. The Depot offers a connected and inclusive environment while providing skill-based programming and leadership development. The Depot is also a place kids can experience our drop in and recreation services in a safe, non-judgemental environment and develop positive relationships. We are uniquely positioned as an educational, interpersonal and social hub within the Darien community.
