Event & Auction Schedule

The Curley Gala is the school's largest fundraising event each year. Proceeds from the Curley Gala have a direct benefit on each Curley student and are part of the school's yearly operating budget.

We are excited about our 29th annual event and looking forward to seeing you for another record-breaking year! Whether you are a long time attendee, or will be joining for the first time this year, we are so grateful you are here as a bidder and loyal supporter.  

We are excited to offer mobile bidding again this year, giving our guests the ease to bid at your fingertips from your personal device. Only guests who purchase tickets will be able to bid on the auction this year. The Verbal Auction will take place in-person at the event.

BIDDING will open on March 20th.  

Silent Auction Tables will close at various intervals throughout the evening on March 23rd.

**Bidding for Verbal Auction items will take place in-person at the Gala via paddle bidding. The Verbal Auction will begin at approximately 9:30pm. Timing is subject to change.**

Bidding Reminders

Bidding Reminders - Further instructions will be emailed as we draw closer to the event with bidding login information. Admin will register you as a bidder once a ticket is purchased in your name. 

To Register as a Bidder:

1. Enter https://curley.cbo.io  into your browser’s address bar.
2. Click Log in/Register tab at the top of the menu bar.
3. Enter in your phone number or email address and tap GO.
4. You will receive a message asking you to opt-in for text messages for the event. A one-time log in code will then be sent via text message.
5. You must enter credit card information to proceed. Please note, if you purchased your ticket via credit card, you may already have credit card information on file. You can change this credit card in your account profile at any point if you wish. 
6. Once all information has been added, you will be directed to the auction website and may begin to preview items! 

Once Bidding Has Opened: 

1. To place a bid tap on the blue "Bid/Info" button. There you can place a fast bid, bid or set a max bid, and read details about items. 
2. Tap on MENU > MY ITEMS to view your activity throughout the event. 

FAQs:

• I forgot my bidder #? Type your phone # or email address in the bidder # box. Tap GO. You also can tap on the "?" for help.
• How do I remove a bid? Right after you place a bid, you have the option to "undo" on the confirmation banner at the top of the screen. 
• I already selected "no" or replied "STOP" to the SMS text message alerts, not realizing that I wouldn't receive outbid notices. Can I fix it? Yes! Text "START" to 56651 to begin receiving these once again.
• How do I place a Max Bid? To place a "max bid", tap on Bid/Info > BID/SET MAX > select the amount you are willing to spend on the item > SET MAX. The system will bid up to that amount for you automatically. You will be notified via text message if you are outbid on this item.
• Did I win? Once individual tables have closed, you can look under MENU/MY ITEMS to view everything that you have won/purchased. Please note, Click Bid WILL send you notification that you have won an item. Any items you are bidding on must be tracked by the bidder to see if you are a winner. 

Paying for your gifts:

At the conclusion of the event, winning bids will be charged against the winning bidder's credit card, which was securely stored during bidding registration. Click Bid will not send you a notification of your winning bid, so please make sure you are tracking any gifts that you are actively bidding on to see if you are the winning bid. Please note that a fee may be charged to help cover processing fees. You will be notified at checkout and have the option to not be charged processing fees. 

You will be able to pick up ALL GIFTS from the Boumi Temple at Gift Checkout in the Club room.
