Welcome to Legacy Weekend 2022

The Legacy event is a 3 day celebration honoring our Chicanx Latinx community at UC Berkeley.  The Chicanx Latinx Alumni Association (CLAA) and the Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office (CLSD) are partnering to celebrate and uplift the contributions of Chicanx Latinx alumni, faculty, staff and students. Events include a Welcome Reception featuring Chancellor Christ, campus activities for students and alumni, a Gala Celebration and a silent auction to raise funds for scholarships, as well as a Scholarship Brunch to recognize our amazing current and future UCB students.

Gala Celebration & Auction

The Legacy Gala will be held at the Scottish Rite Center in Oakland on Saturday, October 1, 2022. The event will include a seated dinner, a program highlighting community accomplishments, music, dancing, and a silent auction to raise money for scholarships and programs for UC Berkeley students. 

The auction bidding will begin on September 24, 2022, at Noon online and will continue through October 1, 2022, at 8 pm. You may join the silent auction without attending the Gala Celebration by selecting the Registration tab above. 

Tickets for the Gala Celebration can be purchased by selecting the Buy Tickets tab in the top menu bar.

Welcome Reception & CLAA Scholarship Brunch

The Welcome Reception will feature remarks by UC Berkeley Chancellor Christ, comida, música, y convivo. Join us at University House and enjoy some time with your fellow Cal Bears on campus. Please note event will be outdoors. 

The Scholarship Brunch Will be held in Pauley Ballroom on Sunday, October 2. Come out to celebrate the achievements of our UC Berkeley Chicanx Latinx students.
