Please join us for our 5th Anniversary Gala on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at The Addison Park in Aberdeen, NJ from 6 pm - 10 pm. Distinguished patrons will include philanthropists, financial executives, business and community leaders, educators, and friends and supporters from New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and beyond. We are delighted to salute an outstanding honoree: Firmenich Charitable Foundation. And we’re pleased to recognize special guest professional athletes: Greg Grant, Christie Pearce, and Troy Vincent, Sr.
HONOREE:
Firmenich Charitable Foundation was founded in 2010 and has made an impact on people and communities in 20 countries around the world. The Foundation has supported ChildWIN® by funding scholarships for two economically disadvantaged college-bound students and sponsoring our annual Gala. Firmenich representatives have volunteered in our Youth Resilience and Leadership program, mentoring young people who have experienced trauma. Firmenich employees have hosted numerous diaper collection drives in support of our New Jersey Diaper Network and “planted” pinwheel gardens in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. We are privileged to salute the Firmenich Charitable Foundation as this year’s honoree.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION – VIP ATHLETES
Greg Grant
Greg Grant played professional basketball for seven seasons in the NBA and two seasons in Italy. Grant graduated from Trenton Central High School, where he later served as Head Basketball Coach for five years; he set up a year-round study hall and tutoring to meet his students’ academic needs. Grant currently coaches basketball at TCNJ where he played three seasons for the Lions with outstanding stats, leading the team to the 1989 NCAA Division III Men’s Championship game. Grant founded the Teaching Hope, Changing Lives Foundation and is President of GGrant94ft Academic Sports Academy.
Christie Pearce
Christie Pearce is the former captain of the United States National Soccer Team. Pearce is a three-time Olympic gold medalist and a two-time world champion in FIFA Women's World Cup. Pearce grew up in Point Pleasant, NJ, and has a BA in Special Education from Monmouth University and an honorary doctoral degree in Public Service. Pearce coaches professional, high school, and club soccer teams, as well as youth basketball teams.
Troy Vincent, Sr.
Troy Vincent, Sr. began his 15-year professional football career as a first-round draft pick. Vincent is currently the Executive Vice President of Football Operations at the National Football League. Vincent previously served as President of the NFL Players Association and Senior Vice President of Player Engagement. Vincent advocates to end domestic violence and sexual assault. He and his family are dedicated to humanitarian efforts defined by giving back to those in need throughout communities across America, beginning with their hometown of Trenton, NJ.

The Child Wellness Institute, known as ChildWIN®, builds resilience and social-emotional health in children and families. With resilience, young people are more likely to withstand and overcome challenges, learn from them, and develop and succeed in healthy ways. Our Healing Hearts® Series of workshops provides an overview of the impact of trauma on the developing child. We lead school personnel on the journey to develop a trauma-informed lens to better support children and families. With your support, we’ve reached more than 10,000 educators who teach thousands of students. Our Youth Resilience Program helps students learn communication skills, set goals, and build resilience. We connect community leaders with underserved youth who benefit from mentorship.
