The Darien Chamber of Commerce presents OKTOBERFEST 2024!

Raise your steins and prepare for a spirited Oktoberfest extravaganza at The Gardener’s Center! The Chamber Jam Committee is excited to introduce the Darien Chamber of Commerce's inaugural event, OKTOBERFEST, on Saturday October 5th, a fusion of community camaraderie and festive cheer.

Join us for an evening filled with live music, traditional Oktoberfest games & prizes (Best Dressed - wear your Dirndls and Lederhosen, Stein holding competition and more), and an array of authentic drinks and dishes. 

Feast on traditional Bavarian cuisine crafted by Michael Joseph's, sip on German-style beers courtesy of Nod Hill Brewery, and indulge in wine and cocktails from Siptirs. A roaming polka band will kick off the festivities, followed by two complete sets from one of Darien’s beloved cover bands, Tangled Vine.

Tickets are non-refundable (rain or shine), but are transferable. Your name will be at the door when checking in and you will be given a wristband to enjoy food, drink & music! 

Uber and ride sharing is strongly encouraged. Gates open at 6pm, 21+ only. Parking available at Thorndale Circle and Uber drop off at Nielsen's Florist, across the street.

A selection of silent auction donors will be previewed here.  Bidding will start live 10 days prior to the event. Mark your calendars!

Auction and event proceeds benefit the Chamber of Commerce programs to support our local businesses and it's Charitable Foundation, a separate 501c3 that facilitates programs to enrich the quality of life in Darien. DCCF programs include College Scholarships and Town Wide Holiday Lights.

Raise Your Steins! The Darien Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the Second Annual OKTOBERFEST—a fusion of community camaraderie and festive cheer.

Get ready for an unforgettable fall evening featuring:

• Live music by local favorite, Something Fried

• A hearty spread of authentic Bavarian cuisine provided by Michael Joseph's

• German-style beers, specialty German wine tastings, and festive cocktails curated by Sly Bandit and Sipstirs

• Traditional Oktoberfest games and prizes — including Best Dressed (Dirndls and Lederhosen encouraged), Stein holding competition and more!

• Annual #shoplocal silent auction - opens for bidding 9/24!

This is a rain-or-shine event. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable. Your name will be at check-in, just show up and grab your wristband for full access to food, drink, and entertainment. Uber and ride sharing are strongly encouraged.
