Carlson 4 Community (C4C), created in 2005, is Carlson School of Management's leading student organization that supports local causes. Our mission is to promote volunteerism and community involvement both at the Carlson school and within the community in which the school resides. Our beneficiary this year is Connections to Independence, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit organization.
Connections to Independence (C2i) provides unique programming and advocacy for foster care youth, ages 15 - 24, promoting a successful and healthy transition to independent living as they reach adulthood. C2i values are based on a healthy mind, body, and soul philosophy with service outcomes focused on five core competencies: Financial Literacy, Housing, Employment, Education and Personal Wellness.
