About Camp Casey

 WHO WE ARE

Camp Casey's sixth annual Gold Rush Gala will benefit Camp Casey's accessible horseback riding programs for children with cancer, sickle cell, and other life threatening illnesses in Michigan. An entirely mobile program, Camp Casey delivers happiness on horseback through four cost-free programs: Horsey House Calls, Cowboy Camp Outs, and Outlaw Outings and Lone Star Getaways. Through these programs, and with the help of supporters like you, Camp Casey has impacted the lives of more than 16,000 individuals directly facing childhood illness in our community.

Learn more about our programs by viewing the video below.

 OUR PROGRAMS

Horsey House Calls deliver “horse camp” to the homes of children who are often too sick to attend a traditional summer camp. With a knock on the door and horse on their doorstep, Camp Casey surprises the children of the household with an afternoon of fun, interactive camp-related activities, including horseback riding in their very own neighborhood!

Cowboy Camp Outs invite families to an all-inclusive weekend getaway at a dude ranch resort where they can enjoy hayrides, campfires, an indoor waterpark, horseback riding, and connecting with other campers.

Outlaw Outings retains relationships with previously served Camp Casey participants on a year-round basis by offering one-day recreational activities for the family to enjoy.

Lone Star Getaways scholarship families for a cost-free stay at a privately-owned rental property in Michigan, where they are able to enjoy time away as a family without having to plan or pay for it.

Thank you for continuing to support Camp Casey! We appreciate your help as we continue to kick cancer's mane and tail in Michigan. Yeehaw!
