About Our Event
Boot Scootin' for Our Kids is an annual charity fundraiser where all proceeds are used for the mission of the Child Advocacy Center of Aiken County.
The CAC of Aiken is a safe, child-friendly facility, where children and their families receive the help they need to move forward after experiencing abuse.
All the healing services that children need – forensic interviews, medical care, advocacy support and counseling – are provided by experienced child abuse professionals in one safe location. The CAC of Aiken coordinates with other community agencies and professionals in order to ensure an effective response to cases of child abuse.
We serve children from 3 to 18 years of age. All services are provided in a nurturing, friendly, and safe environment at NO COST to a child’s family. Each year over 600 children in the Aiken County area who were victims of physical or sexual abuse, neglect, or were a witness to violent crime are helped by the Child Advocacy Center.
