Please log in or register to make a bid or donation. Once your account is created, you are registered to bid in both the silent and live auctions for "Going for the Gold". Bidding on the silent auction begins Monday, April 25 at 8:00 a.m. and closes Saturday, April 30, at 7:45 pm.

HELPFUL HINTS
- Once the Live Auction begins make sure to click BID LIVE to make your live bids, just as you would in a live event. Live Auction items can be viewed in the preview tab.
- Fund-the-Need donations can be made at any time.

About Gala
Welcome to The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing Going for the Gold Gala. Your support through our auction will help us raise funds for our nursing students who will take their places on the front lines of healthcare. All of us have known how important nurses are, but the entire world knows now. Bid, Pay & Pickup
(The silent auction opens April 25 at 8 a.m. and ends April 30 at 7:45 p.m.)
- Enter www.baylor.muradbid.com into your browser’s address bar.
- Enter in your bidder number, phone number or email address and tap GO.
- Confirm you are the name listed (a password may be required at this time) then hit "Continue".
- Once completely logged in, you can search by item #, keyword, or by category.
- To place a bid tap on the blue "Bid/Info" button. There you can place a fast bid, bid or set a max bid, and read details about items.
- To place a bid during the Live Auction, tap BID LIVE when directed by the auctioneer during the LIVE BROADCAST.
- Tap on MENU > MY ITEMS to view your activity throughout the event.
Checkout
At the close of all auctions, you will be emailed a statement. You can also verify the amount owed by clicking on MENU>MY ITEMS after 7:45 p.m. on April 30.

Winning Item Distribution
Winners attending the gala will pick up their item/s at the end of the evening. If winner is not attending the gala, arrangements can be made to pick up the items at LHSON, or from volunteers in Waco, Tyler or Houston. Any questions, please contact Karen Willis at karengs1@verizon.net.
FAQs
- I forgot my bidder #? Type your phone # or email address in the bidder # box. Tap GO. You also can tap on the "?" for help.
- How do I remove a bid? Right after you place a bid, you have the option to "undo" on the confirmation banner at the top of the screen. Once this banner goes away, you will need to contact Karen by text at 817-721-3301 or email her at karengs1@verizon.net.
- I already selected "no" or replied "STOP" to the SMS text message alerts, not realizing that I wouldn't receive outbid notices. Can I fix it? Yes! Text "START" to 56651 to begin receiving these once again.
- How do I place a Max Bid? To place a "max bid", tap on Bid/Info > BID/SET MAX > select the amount you are willing to spend on the item > SET MAX. The system will bid up to that amount for you automatically. You will be notified via text message if you are outbid on this item.
- Did I win? Once the auction has closed, you can look under MENU/MY ITEMS to view everything that you have won/purchased.
