10x10 Name Unseen Silent Auction & pARTy

The Art Base pARTy August 17, 2024

The pARTy is a fundraiser supporting The Art Base's mission to provide access to art education and art experiences for all. An investment in the arts is an investment in community. The Arts have been proven to increase civic engagement, lower poverty rates, improve academic performance, drive tourism, and boost local economies. 

All proceeds from the auction and pARTy go to support the Art Base's efforts to make art and creativity available to all. 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

5:00 - 6:30 PM at The Art Base, 174 Midland Avenue

• Cocktail Reception presented by Woody Creek Distillers
• Creativity corners to make your own art
• 10x10 Name Unseen Silent Auction viewing & bidding
• Silent Auction bidding will end promptly at 6:30 PM          

7:00 - 9:00 PM at Lions Park (Rides will be available)

• Fine Dining catered by the Farmer & The Chef
• Presentation of the Melva Bucksbaum Dedication to the Arts Award to Bill Kane
• Paddle Raise
• Dessert

Theme: Mountain Bohemian. In choosing your dress, please think free spirited and eclectic, as bohemian design mimics the artistry and creativity of those who appreciate the textures, patterns, colors, and motifs of nature. Bohemian breathes color, pattern, and good-vibes!

Please choose shoes appropriate for walking on grass.

10 x 10 Name Unseen Silent Auction

The 10x10 Name Unseen Silent Auction is an exhibition showcasing local artists who have generously donated a 10x10 artwork. All panels are available for bidding starting at $100. All proceeds from the auction and pARTy go to support the Art Base's efforts to make art and creativity available to all.

• Bidding begins at 10:30 AM on August 2 and closes at 6:30 PM on August 17.
• Opening Reception Friday, August 2, 5-7 PM

All bidding will take place on your mobile device. 

You will receive a text message if you have been outbid on an item. 

All winning bidders will have their credit card on file charged once the auction closes. 

Artwork will be available for pick-up at the end of the pARTy on August 17, or at the Art Base during office hours starting August 20.
