5th Annual Butterfly Ball

The Alana Rose Foundation is excited to host the 5th Annual Butterfly Ball! 

Saturday, February 24, 2024

5:00 - 10:00 pm

Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club

This year's theme is "Over the Rainbow".  We will highlight stories of pregnancy after loss, celebrate "rainbow babies", shine a light on the "dark side" of the rainbow, and learn more about the unique challenges faced by members of the LGBTQ+ community.

VIP guests are invited to dress to impress and "flutter by" the Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club for a fun and memorable evening. Walk the purple carpet and have free professional photos taken by Little Frog Photography, enjoy Butterfly Martinis and live music during our Butterfly Social Cocktail Hour, feast on a 3-course gourmet dinner (including dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes), hear inspirational messages from special guests, honor and remember our angel babies during a candlelight moment of remembrance, and dance the night away at our After-party with a Live DJ! 

No Babysitter?  No Problem!

Sign your kids up for the BUTTERFLY BALL KIDS PARTY!

Kids will be able to hang out in an adjacent room and enjoy a variety of kids' activities. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Kids are welcome to join the adults on the dance floor or can continue their own party hosted by DJ Quentin.

For those unable to attend in person, the event program will also be live-streamed and the silent auction will take place online. We will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and adjust, as needed, to ensure the safety of all attendees.

Alana Rose Foundation

The Alana Rose Foundation was founded in 2019 in loving memory of Alana Rose Whitmore. 

Alana was born to eternal life on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at 3:14 am at 32-weeks gestation due to a placental abruption. 

"Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not."

The mission of the Alana Rose Foundation is to help raise awareness and provide hope, healing, and support to families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.  We envision a world where all families who experience pregnancy and infant loss receive the love and support they need throughout their grief journey so they may, ultimately, be transformed by their experience in a way that promotes hope and healing. 

The Alana Rose Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN # 84-2839389).

Online Silent Auction Information

The online silent auction opens on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at 9 am CST and closes on Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at 9 pm CST.  

You must REGISTER in order to bid on items. Registration is FREE! 

Winners will be contacted after the auction closes with more information on payment and pick-up/shipping options. 

In-person attendees can pay for and pick up their items at the event.

Payment can be made through the ClickBid online payment system; however, to help avoid the transaction fee they charge, we recommend sending payment directly to the Alana Rose Foundation using your preferred payment method:
