Until They All Have a Home!
On behalf of the Board of Directors, event committee, and the entire group of staff and volunteers, we warmly welcome you to Acadiana Animal Aid’s 2019 Bark in the Dark! My husband, Bob, and I would also like to personally thank each of you – our greatest supporters – for joining us and making a life-saving difference for thousands of pets in our community. Your generosity enables Acadiana Animal Aid to go above and beyond to save shelter pets lives until they all have a home.
Acadiana Animal Aid has served this community and our pets since 1974. And, it is a privilege to say, since initiating and collaborating on the 2020 No Kill movement with Joel Robideaux, Target Zero and the other wonderful animal welfare groups in our area, we were able to achieve that goal for the first time in history (for one month) this year at our municipal shelter. We have a lot of work to continue to do to keep up the momentum and sustain the progress, but we have no doubt that with the tenacity of our organization and the support of YOU, our amazing community, we now have hope that we WILL achieve and sustain NO-KILL in Acadiana.
This event is all about us working together as a team!
