How to Bid

BID HIGH,  BID OFTEN, HAVE A LOT OF FUN!

How To Bid

  1. Once the auction is open and you have your Bidder Number, you can log in.
  2. Enter your bidder number, phone number or email address and tap GO.
  3. Confirm you are the name listed (a password may be required at this time) then hit "Continue".
  4. Once completely logged in, you can search by auction Item #, keyword, or by category.
  5. To place a bid, tap on the blue "Bid/Info" button. There you can place a Fast Bid, Bid or set a Max Bid, and read details about items.
  6. Tap on MENU > MY ITEMS to view your activity throughout the event. Mark your favorites with a heart to find them easier later.

Bidding Tips

  1. Keep checking back because new items will be added throughout the week.
  2. Check out the Max Bid option - no one else will see how much you're willing to pay, but the system will keep bidding for you until someone outbids your set max bid or you remain the top bidder.
  3. Rather just buy it outright? There's a Buy it Now (BIN) option for most items. The contribution amount above the fair market value is tax deductible!
  4. Mark your favorites with a heart to find them easier later.

FAQs

  • I forgot my bidder #? Type your phone # or email address in the bidder # box. Tap GO. You also can tap on the "?" for help.
  • How do I remove a bid? Right after you place a bid, you have the option to "undo" on the confirmation banner at the top of the screen. Once this banner goes away, you will need to see an event volunteer that is using the butler to remove it.
  • I already selected "no" or replied "STOP" to the SMS text message alerts, not realizing that I wouldn't receive outbid notices. Can I fix it? Yes! Text "START" to 56651 to begin receiving these once again.
  • How do I place a Max Bid? To place a "max bid", tap on Bid/Info > BID/SET MAX > select the amount you are willing to spend on the item > SET MAX. The system will bid up to that amount for you automatically. You will be notified via text message if you are outbid on this item.
  • Did I win? Once the auction has closed, you can look under MENU/MY ITEMS to view everything that you have won/purchased.
  • Item pictures are scrolling really slow or the page seems frozen. Try refreshing your browser or using Google Chrome as your browser.
  • Can't find a solution? Contact us at cgarrett@allaboutanimalsrescue.org. If we can't help, we'll get you in touch with someone who can!

Checkout Online From Your Computer or Phone

You can securely checkout online from your phone with a credit card. To only have to checkout one time, wait until all auction items (silent, live, Fund a Need Appeal) have closed. Once you have a checkout available, a red "Pay!" button will appear at the top of your bidding screen. Tap on this button to proceed to checkout. If you have not already put a credit card on file, you will need to do so at this time in order to checkout online.

The Mission

No More Homeless Pets! That's what drives our everyday efforts.

Overpopulation is real. The pandemic, and a national shortage of veterinarians and veterinary technicians, set population control back to a level none of us thought we’d see again. Shelters and rescues are overwhelmed with homeless cats and dogs. Euthanasia in shelters continues to be on the rise while adoptions have significantly slowed. Most shelters and rescues are on "intake hold," meaning there is nowhere for homeless or even stray animals to go. Rising prices are causing people not to be able to afford food or services for their pets. At the same time, people are getting evicted from their home and don't even have a place for their pet to live. Veterinarians, especially affordable veterinary clinics, are over capacity for spay/neuter surgery - scheduling into next year. There are more animals needing rescue than rescue can manage.

Animal welfare is in a crisis.

This is why we remain dedicated to prevention. Spay/neuter is like turning off the water source to a flooding home. How else are you supposed to make repairs unless you stop the flood?

Spay/neuter saves countless animals from being born only to suffer in homelessness or to soon be euthanized as well as having many benefits for the sterilized pet.

All About Animals Rescue passionately serves the public, TNR community cat groups, shelters, rescues and animal control. Your participation in Spay-tacular, Party for Paws, directly helps us continue to help them.

We've fixed over 400,000 cats and dogs in Michigan since forming in 2005. There are so many more we can help with your support.

YOU MAKE IT POSSIBLE.

WE THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE NO MORE HOMELESS PETS SOLUTION!
