The NDSC staff, board of directors, and event chairs Bob Hope and Tony and Maria Barnhart invite you to the College Football Hall of Fame for the third annual Big Game Ball on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
The event will honor postsecondary programs serving those with intellectual disability and individuals and organizations advancing opportunities for those with Down syndrome to attend postsecondary inclusive education programs.
Founded in 1973, the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to an improved world for individuals with Down syndrome. NDSC is the leading national resource of support and information for anyone touched by or seeking to learn about Down syndrome from the moment of diagnosis through adulthood.
The purpose of NDSC is to promote the interests of people with Down syndrome and their families through advocacy, public awareness, and information and to reshape the way people understand and experience Down syndrome.
Mission and Vision Statements
The mission of the National Down Syndrome Congress is to provide information, advocacy, and support concerning all aspects of life for individuals with Down syndrome.
The vision of the NDSC is a world with equal rights and opportunities for people with Down syndrome.
The Third Annual Big Game Ball, benefiting National Down Syndrome Congress, will be held at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, GA, on Thursday, October 24, 2024. During the event, we will recognize universities and individual honorees who have made significant contributions to developing, expanding, and improving inclusive postsecondary education for students with intellectual disabilities, which leads to meaningful employment.
