An Après-Ski Extravaganza and Celebration of Movement in the Outdoors
The first lift each day that transports skiers up the mountain to a blank canvas of snow, awaiting their tracks. Sought after by the most dedicated, powder-seeking and ambitious skiers and riders, it is this energy and spirit that OAS strives to embody: a persistent pursuit of the transformative power of moving through the mountains. By joining OAS for the First Chair Gala, you are increasing access for all to seek these experiences - access to First Chair.
Leading up to the First Chair Gala, our mobile auction lets everyone get in on the fun!
This auction features dozens of packages from outdoor gear, memorable excursions to unique gifts. Even if you can't join us at the First Chair Gala you can place your bid from your mobile device! Register or Login to sign up for the auction and start bidding. Everyone can bid on items and be notified when they've been outbid. The auction closes Thursday, October 10th at 7:00 pm.
If attending the gala, auction winners can take home their loot the same evening! Remote auction winners will be contacted to arrange item collection after the event. Please note that shipping is not included in the bid price. If you are a remote winner and not local, you will need to arrange to pick up your item in Bend. Additionally, live auction items are not available for mobile bidding; only guests present at the First Chair Gala will be able to bid on these exclusive items in person.

If you are interested in attending the Gala, we may have some tickets available in early September, please be sure to check back in then! Your support is appreciated.
Attire:
For this evening, we encourage you to embrace a sophisticated blend of mountain formal and alpine chic. Think elegant suits, black dresses, and cozy yet stylish Norwegian sweaters. Please note that jeans and t-shirts would be considered too casual for this occasion.
Registration
To streamline the event and ensure we can provide you with the best possible experience, we kindly ask you to register all your table guests. To allow us ample time for preparation, we kindly request that this information be finalized by Monday, September 30th.
Event Schedule
5:30 pm – 6:45 pm: Cocktail Hour & Silent Auction.
Join us for signature apres-ski drinks, test out adaptive stationary bikes, indulge in the cozy ski photo booth, and mingle with fellow guests while savoring our selection of passed appetizers!
6:50 pm – 8:35 pm: Dinner & Live Auction.
Indulge in a gourmet family-style dinner prepared for the occasion. As we come together to celebrate OAS’s mission, be captivated by a short film, a special appeal, and an exciting live auction!
8:35 pm – 9:00 pm: Auction Check-Out.
Collect your winnings, settle your bids and ensure a safe journey home!
Meal Information
Join us for a delightful family-style dinner where beverages and wine will be provided. A fresh garden salad will accompany your meal.
Entrée options:
- Grilled Tri-tip with Creamy Horseradish and Chimichurri (df/gf)
- Coq Au Vin: Chicken braised with wine, lardons, mushrooms, and garlic
Side Dishes (served with all entrees):
- Celery Root Purée with olive oil and herbs (vegan)
- Truffle Mac n Cheese (vegetarian)
