SAMFCO is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 1996 by Ambassador Carlos Manuel Sada Solana, then Consul General of Mexico in San Antonio, and various prominent SA leaders to strengthen and promote the shared cultural ties between the citizens of San Antonio and Mexico.

In that spirit, the 2025 Gala will be a festive evening celebrating business leaders who will be recognized by the Mexican Government, while also raising funds for SAMFCO’s programs: in health, Ventanillas de Salud, improves access to primary and preventive health services to thousands in Bexar County. In education, SAMFCO strengthens the partnership of the Mexican Consulate and local universities and colleges to provide scholarships to students of Mexican origin.
