 In the past 4 years, this golf tournament has raised over $1,000,000 for the ALS community. Last year was a huge success as together we raised $450,000. We also announced the Fanny Pack Foundation, a charity formed in Christie's honor, which extends grants for specific and immediate needs to individuals living with ALS. Since launching the Fanny Pack Foundation, we have helped over 20 families with home renovations, caretaking support, medical equipment, and the purchase of an ADA van.

The Christie Memorial Golf Tournament is held in honor of Christie Stier, the matriarch of everything Stier, who lost her courageous battle with ALS in October 2017. Christie knew no strangers and was a friend, mom, and teacher to all. She dedicated her life to serving and helping anyone and everyone. Our hope for this tournament is to honor our mom and raise money to support those living with ALS. 

ALS is a progressive neurological disease that affects the function of all voluntary muscle movement. It is a fatal disease, and while advances are being made, there is currently no cure. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Fanny Pack Foundation, which supports individuals and families affected by ALS.
