When the Scholarship Fund was formed in 1982, the mission was to help students who were working hard to support their families while also pursuing their academic goals. Their stories inspired us! We wanted to make a tangible difference in the lives of these hard-working individuals.
Our mission is even more alive today with an additional initiative to shape the students of tomorrow. Due to our tremendous sponsors and growth of our foundation, we are now also partnering with George Mason University's Early Identification Program. This program focuses on students starting in eighth grade all the way through high school and prepares them as first-generation college students.
We are excited to see how this new partnership grows over the coming years.
